Managing Veterinarian
Animal Hospital of Beulah in Pensacola, FL, welcomes a new Managing Veterinarian to lead our fantastic team! We opened our doors in 2018 and have been fortunate to face steady growth. Our current two-doctor team is supported by a dynamic and energetic team of veterinary technicians who we utilize for anything and everything. They indeed do it all! Our practice has a designated surgical team, an appointment team, and floating technicians to ensure our doctors have a smooth workflow. We pride ourselves in providing high-quality, compassionate veterinary care at affordable prices.
We welcome experienced veterinarians looking to showcase their great skill sets. Their caseload would come from current and new clients who visit from urban and rural nearby communities. Our clients are loyal, compassionate, and ready to welcome any new veterinarian to the practice! We emphasize adequate work-life balance, have no on-call or after-hour responsibilities, and will ensure flexible scheduling for new team members.

Veterinary Technician
Our two doctor practice is excited to add another Veterinary Technician to our now four doctor practice! We are looking for an individual who is good at communicating, organization, and multi-tasking, and who is ready to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate would have at least 1-2 years’ previous experience in veterinary medicine.
Hours of operation: Monday – Friday 7:30am- 5:30pm

Essential Functions:
- Able to perform basic animal handling and restraint
- Be able to accurately position for radiographs
- Assist veterinarians in the practice of veterinary medicine and surgery
- Perform in-hospital lab testing and prepare specimens for outside labs
- Assist veterinarians in outpatient exams by taking histories, vital signs, and weights as well as providing client education
- Collect and prepare diagnostic samples
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Assist in maintaining practice equipment
- Assist veterinarian performing surgery
- Assist veterinarians in any other assigned tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of surgery suite, treatment area, and exams rooms for all surfaces
- Support DEA compliance as it relates to the role
- Any other duties as assigned
Requirements/Qualifications
- Previous veterinary medicine experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 40 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 40 pounds with assistance
- Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE
- Computer skills, MS office applications, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 – $23.00 per hour
